Superintendent's Message

Dear ABS parents,
Many of you knew me as your child’s Principal last school year. However, this year I am honored to take up my new position as Superintendent. I look forward to directing the ABS staff towards a successful school year.
ABS is proud to announce that we have expanded our student enrollment and that there are new additions to our buildings. We expanded our KG department with a new Pre KG building and AfterCare area as well as adding a leveled book library for teaching elementary reading.
There is also a modern elementary music classroom, 12 new IWBs to bring the total number of classrooms with state of the art technology to 64, a Culinary Arts kitchen on the girls’ campus and an electronic scoreboard in the gym so we can host ISACK basketball and volleyball games for the first time.
We have also extended our staff members to include new positions and added more courses in order to provide your children with the finest education. These new positions that have been filled to assist our Principals include three Vice Principals, a Dean of Students for the boys’ campus, Professional Development Coordinator, Grade 1 Coordinator, Curriculum Coordinator, Fine Arts Coordinator and an Athletics Director.
We have fully implemented the New York Curriculum, that you can see on our website. New teaching positions have been allocated for the new courses we will be providing such as Culinary Arts, Digital Design and Oceanography.
As you can imagine, I am very excited about all of these program specialists along with numerous building upgrades. We hope you are as excited about your child being offered all of these opportunities at ABS. It remains our priority to continue to be a superior private school in Kuwait. We look forward to working with you and your child this school year.

Welcome Back! Important Announcements!

Dear ABS parents,
ABS would like to welcome back all our parents and students for the academic year of 2008/09! Please note the following important announcements:
• From October 12th students must exit the school from their proper gates. Students may not exit from the main reception. Please view the No Exit Re-Entry Flyer for more information.
• Students will have their school photographs taken between 26th and 30th of October. Please view the School Photograph Flyer for uniform guidelines and pricing details.
• Extracurricular activities are starting, sign in forms must be completed by October 13th. View the Extracurricular Activities Flyer for all the details and the Sign in Sheet.
